After extensive research we have found what is perhaps the most revolutionary hand held tuning tool in the market.
Courtenay ProTech interacts with the ecu via the car's OBDII (diagnostic) port. It is very easy to use via the four way control pad, and features an LCD display panel which will guide you step by step through a series of menus. The tool has the ability to hold your standard factory map plus 3 different tuned files, and can be used to read and erase trouble codes (DTC’s). It has an analogue input socket for a wide band lambda sensor and when used with the software provided features live data logging of up to 24 parameters.
Simply plug the ProTech into the OBDII port, plug the USB cable into your laptop/PC and start up live link. Select a whole range of parameters so you know exactly what your vehicle is doing. Use your lap top for data logging on the move and save files for analysis.
Finally, you can migrate your ProTech unit to a different vehicle up to 5 times and load an infinite number of tuning files - so if you change your car regularly your money is well spent!
We are due to release ProTech unit very soon, once final ecu interfacing has been completed. We will also be offering existing customers a promotional deal on the unit.

Balancer Shaft Removal Kit

Now available from Courtenay Sport, a balancer shaft deletion kit for Z20LET, Z20LEL and Z20LER applications.
This kit safely removes the balancer shafts installed from the factory, and reduces internal power losses and enables the engine to rev more smoothly and briskly when the bottom end is lightened and balanced as part of an engine rebuild.
We remove the balancer shafts as a matter of course when we carry out high power engine rebuilds.

M32 Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential
 |
 Now available from Courtenay Sport, the Quaife ATB differential for M32 gearboxes. A direct replacement for the standard Vauxhall differential, the Quaife ATB differential transforms your car's performance, making getting the power down onto the road easier, for improved traction and driveability.
Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the ATB diff relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation. Because of this, the ATB differential never locks harshly with a set pre-load of wheel slip across the driven axle, like a conventional LSD. Rather, the differential automatically biases the torque away from the spinning wheel across the axle, to a constantly varying degree, and never locks. |
The Quaife ATB differential has many benefits over a standard open differential, including maximising traction and minimizing wheelspin, eliminating torque steer and snatching in front wheel drive cars compared to conventional LSD units, and a maintenance-free design which retains the standard oil lubrication.

Each filter is supplied with a can of filter oil which allows maximum dirt retention and it can be easily cleaned by thoroughly washing using hot water and washing-up liquid. Stephan's Speedster Turbo breaks the 10 second barrier!
Stephan Klasen, our mapping engineer, set himself a target to build an Opel Speedster turbo capable of running a quarter of a mile in less than 10 seconds. He has come close before at a fraction over 10 seconds.
On Saturday the 1st of September he achieved his goal, after finding another 17 bhp from an already very powerful Z20LET engine. With some tweaks to the cam timing and increasing the air flow meter to a 100mm version, further mapping resulted in 602 BHP.
The 1/4 mile time was 9.969 seconds at 143.77 mph. He also recorded an 1/8 mile time of 6.58 seconds at 116.00 mph
