83 Degree Cooler Running Thermostat.
Our cool thermostats open 11 degrees earlier than a standard 'stat, allowing coolant to pass into the radiator sooner reducing the engine's normal running temperature by a few degrees, helping to protect the engine and run it closer to it's optimum power temperature. Our coolstats open at 83 degrees (standard stat opens at 92 degrees) and is fully open at 95 degrees (standard stat is fully open at 107 degrees)
The coolstat is supplied as an insert and simply bayonets into the original thermostat housing, once the standard thermostat has been removed.
Always monitor your coolant temperature to ensure that correct operating temperatures are being achieved.
