Piper Full 3" (76mm) Stainless Steel Turbo Back Exhaust System with sports cat for Astra 2.0 Turbo Coupe

Ideal for maximum horsepower gains, especially on mapped cars. A 3" system produces better flow than a 2.5" system with no loss of torque (having been compared like for like). Manufactured in the UK from high grade stainless steel.

Does a 76mm system work? Why is it better than a 63.5 or 70mm system?

We have seen a gain of 5 bhp on a 250 bhp car has been seen with no mapping changes when switching from a 2.5" system to this 3" system.

We have seen a gain of up to 10 bhp on a 284 bhp car and 10 lb ft torque have been seen with suitable mapping changes when switching from a 2.5" system to this 3" system.

On a 318bhp car, switching from a 70mm system to a 76mm system saw gains to 334bhp.

Includes new exhaust rubber mounts. This system includes a limited lifetime warranty on the stainless steel (excludes cat). 12 months warranty against manufacturing defects. Catalytic Converters are warranted for 6 months.

Silencer Optons:
Supplied with two silencers (centre and tailbox)
A single silencer option (tailbox only) is also available.

We recommend the 2 silencer option. Single silencer option will be louder.

Catalyst Options:
This system has a straight through front pipe with no pre cat and is fitted with a main sports cat.

Please Note:
Sports Cat is designed for Motorsport use only (not for road use).
Running no catalysts may lead to failing an emissions check and an MOT failure and the EML coming on. This set up may not be road legal.
The Engine Management Light may come on when a sports cat is fitted for Cat System Efficiency Below Threshold (P0420). We can remap the ecu to remove the EML for the cat system efficiency (P0420) error code in cases where the EML comes on for this trouble code.
Cars running 1 silencer should be track day friendly but are louder than twin silenced systems.
