Uprated PEC Forged Steel Con Rods with ARP Rod Bolts.

PEC Forged Conrods are stiffer and more ridged which makes them better suited to high power/higher torque engines for example high power turbo builds.

These lightweight connecting rods are forged from 4340 high tensile steel. Two-Piece forging for greater strength. Ribbed Pin End minimises PE distortion under heavy inertial loads. Multi Stage Heat Treatment for maximum strength, dimensional stability and fatigue life and fully shot-peened for improved fatigue life. Silicon/Bronze bushing with radial grove, Lipped Cap Relief for improved big-end integrity, dowel sleeves for perfect fit and accurate re-assembling and big end fitted with high quality ARP 2000 rod bolts.

Supplied as a matched set and balanced, each set of 4 steel rods includes a set of 8 Uprated ARP rod bolts and ARP Ultra-Torque fastener assembly lubricant.

Ideal for all modified engines exceeding OE component capabilities and suitable for fast road, track and competition use.

We recommend that OE rods are replaced as follows: Z16LEx: 240-250bhp
Note: Steel rods do not fit factory pistons.
